Historic Center

Praia Grande
Located just a short walk from the historic center, Praia Grande is one of Ferragudo’s most popular beach areas. The beach offers calm waters, making it ideal for families and visitors looking to relax by the sea. Praia Grande is framed by cliffs and dotted with beachside bars and restaurants, providing the perfect mix of natural beauty and amenities. The beach is also known for its views of the Portimão Marina and the São João do Arade Castle, which sits proudly at one end of the beach.
